Liver

The liver is the largest solid organ of our body and it is located in the upper right area of the abdomen. It weighs approximately 1,5-1,8 kilos and has two lobes, the right and the left. The liver is called also a “chemical factory” performing over 500 chemical functions in your body and along with the gallbladder and pancreas, works to absorb, digest, and process food.

The primary function of the liver is to filter the blood that comes from the digestive tract, before sending it to the rest of the body. The liver detoxifies chemicals and metabolizes medicines.

Another critical function of the liver is the production of important proteins for blood clotting. It is also responsible for an array of functions that support blood, vitamins and minerals storage.

One ProHumano+ HepatoDefense capsule contains 360 mg of PHOSPHOcomplex™, a formula with an essential role in the proper functioning of the liver and in stimulating protein synthesis.
