Synovial joint

Synovial joints are the most numerous in the body and are known for their increased mobility. They consist of cartilage (covering the bony ends), the joint capsule, the joint cavity (where synovial fluid is found), ligaments, and tendons.

Depending on the amplitude of their motion, several types of synovial joints can be identified, such as the joints that allow flexion and extension movements (elbow and knee joints), those that allow lateral movements (joints in the spine, wrist and ankle) and joints that move around a pivot (radioulnar joint).

For the proper functioning of the joint, it is required that both the cartilage and the synovial fluid have optimal composition.

One sachet of ProHumano+ ArtroDinamic contains 500 mg of hydrolyzed collagen, a substance found naturally in cartilage, and 100 mg of hyaluronic acid, a component of synovial fluid.

Osteoarthritis (also called arthritis) can affect any joint. However, the most commonly affected areas of the body are the joints that support more weight, such as the joints of the knee, hip, and spine, but also the hands (finger joints).
