Hydrolyzed Collagen
essential protein for joints and tendons

Active ingredient

Hydrolyzed Collagen

Collagen is an insoluble, fibrous protein that makes up one-third of the protein in the human body. Collagen consists of amino acids that the body uses to form the connective tissue in skin, hair, nails, bones and joints (tendons and ligaments). With age, the body produces less and lower-quality collagen.

For a better absorption, collagen is broken down into smaller particles called peptides. Hydrolysis is a chemical reaction in which water is used to break down a hydrogen bond. Hydrolyzed collagen exhibits a high intestinal absorption.

Collagen has a number of important functions in the human body. It strengthens various structures of the body such as bones and joints, stimulates hair and nails growth, keeps the skin healthy and elastic, speeds up the healing process of the wounds, helps maintain healthy teeth and gums.

Vitamin C, proline and glycine are essential resources for collagen production.
